I am a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Executive Director at Illinois Valley Industries... an organization that, like Special Connections, empowers individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. When I had the chance to become a board member of Special Connections, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of another organization that prioritizes enhancing quality of life for all participants and their families. Inclusion, opportunity, experience, choice and support are all part of the Special Connections experience.
