About the event
SPECIAL OLYMPICS SWIMMING
Athletes ages 8 and up to compete in swimming. *This is a competitive team and not swim lessons. Athletes should be able to swim the length of the pool, 25 meters. Swim athletes who want to learn a new stroke are welcome to register. Athletes on our team can compete in: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly.
Zoom meeting: Thursday, October 9th at 7pm. Even if you are only interested in more information, I encourage you to attend. The link for the meeting is in the email.
Roster: Limited to 16 athletes. If we reach 16, then a waiting list will be created. Swimming athletes who competed in Swim Regional 2025 are guaranteed their spot for the new season if they choose to come back. New to this sport athletes are on a first come, first served basis.
Practice: Generally twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays, based on venue availability, 6:15-8:15 (the first and last 15 minutes are locker room times) at Dist…
