SPECIAL OLYMPICS UNIFIED CORNHOLE
Unified Cornhole is strictly a Unified Sport where a Special Olympics Athlete is paired with a Unified Partner, which is someone who does not have disabilities, and the 2 of them compete as a team. A Unified Partner could be a family member, friend, or community member who is aged 8 and up. (Anyone aged 8-13 wanting to become a Unified Partner must be approved by Tina) All Unified Partners must complete a registration with Special Olympics, including a background check for those aged 18 and up, in order to participate. This sport is now an OFFICIAL SPORT for SOILL, so there will be a Regional competition, and those teams who earn gold medals will advance to the State competition to be held at Summer Games!
