Special Olympics fun activity!

Cop on a Rooftop at Dunkin Donuts

Coach Tina will drive the bus and we will stop at up to 8 Dunkin Donuts locations (as time allows) to visit and take pictures with the police participating in this Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising event!

Registration is open to up to 6 athletes plus 1 wheelchair athlete and 1 coach/chaperone to help on a first come/first served basis to ride the bus. You can register at www.specialconnections.org or call/text Tina at 815-302-9859. Please leave a message to hold your spot in line if I do not answer.

Date/Time: This Friday, August 19th 8:00-12:30

The bus will leave from the office parking lot at 7:45, and then from Narvick at 8:00.

There is no cost to attend.

Registration will close Thursday August 18th at 6pm.

You must have updated Special Connections paperwork on file to participate. Once you register, Tina will check if there’s any forms needed from you.

We plan to visit stores in the following towns:

1 location in Morris

2 locations in Minooka

2 locations in Shorewood

3 locations in Joliet

The fundraiser ends at 12:00, so whichever location we are at by 12:00 is where we will load up and return to Morris for drop off. We will try to get to all 8 locations, but no promises!

You can wear Special Olympics or Special Connections gear and be sure to bring some medals to show off!!!
